With the birthing person in a comfortable position and in a cozy environment in their home:

• We start with a short chat to talk about how the gestational period has been thus far and to go over anything that may be on their mind.

• We then go into a breathing exercise to let go of the goings on of the day.

• I then proceed to play the Tibetan Singing Bowls for a period of time.

• After the bowls, I lead a guided meditation which allows the birthing person to potentially identify and let go of any thoughts or fears that may unknowingly cause one to “hold back” during birth.

• After a short resting period, we’ll take some time to color, draw, and/or journal through anything you may have experienced. After that self-reflection time we’ll talk through what may have revealed itself.

While I ideally like to do this towards the end of one’s pregnancy, it can also be helpful at any point!

Tibetan Singing Bowls can invoke a deep sense of calmness and relaxation, and can help to release anxiety and tension.
