Birth Doula Service

Queer Birth Doula Asheville

Let’s Doula This!

I approach birth doula work with my 3 E’s: evidence-based, empathetic support, and effective advocacy. I also draw on my personal qualities which include yogic principles, a grounded presence, and meditation. I have a great desire to bring love, joy, and healing to those I work with.

“If I could go back and do my birth experience over, one thing I wouldn’t change was my choice of Paulina as my doula. The support and care they put into making my son’s birth a success is irreplaceable, and will be forever remembered and treasured by us. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

— R. (doula client)

Sliding Scale.

Why Sliding Scale? What’s Sliding Scale?

Many practitioners in various fields have offered me the opportunity to pay as I was able to over the years and to me, it feels like a radical act of love for the collective.

When placing yourself on the scale for my birth doula services I ask that you be honest and use integrity. I do not ask for any proof. To those with access to resources, I invite you to pay at the higher end of the range to help support and sustain financially accessible doula work. For this role to be sustainable for me and to be able to help as many as I can, I need your help in balancing the high and low! If you find yourself in between tiers, please choose an amount that feels right for you. Thank you for your deep consideration.
