Meet Your Doula
About Me: Paulina (they/them)
When not doula-ing a birth or meeting with doula clients, you might find me going on a hike with my dog, taking or teaching a yoga class, sipping a warm cup of tea, or spending time with family and friends!
Being.
I currently provide birth doula services to the greater Asheville, NC area (occupied Cherokee land). I enjoy a spiritual + energetic connection with the earth and I’m happy to work with folks of all belief systems- as long as that system is based in kindness and is accepting + affirming of beings from all backgrounds.
Learning.
If there’s one concept that can always be relied upon…that would be change! The birth world is constantly changing with new evidence coming out all the time. There’s endless opportunities to learn and I take several continuing education workshops per year to ensure I’m able to support my clients with the best information I have available to me.

“I was skeptical at first when my wife told me she wanted a doula for the birth of our child. I’m private by nature so less people the better for me when it comes to personal matters, especially childbirth. I also thought I would be all the support she needed. Well I was wrong on all that. The support Paulina brought was amazing not only for my wife but also for me. Most important to me was their comforting voice and presence, staying in the moment, ready for whatever was needed. If you are looking for a doula, Paulina is the best, you’ll see that when you meet them.”
